1991 Jack Woodcock Memorial Cycle Race in the Phoenix Park
The Jack Woodcock Memorial was one of the premier cycling events in Ireland for many years. The event was run in the Phoenix Park in March and organised by the Eagle Cycle Racing Club. The quality of the picture and sound is not great, but as there is no cycle races in the Phoenix park these days, it's important to show people what the races looked like back then. Cycle racing was a regular feature in the park for many decades, it's a shame that it has ended. 1991 Woodcock Result: 1. Brendan McLoughlin, 2. Colm Maye & 3.
