My Portion
"My Portion" — Lamentations 3:22-24 / Psalm 73:25-26 There is a kind of knowing that only comes through losing. Not the theological knowing that says God is sufficient from a place of abundance. The specific knowing that comes from the morning when the abundance is gone and you reach for what is left and find that what is left is Him. And Him is enough. More than enough. Completely enough in a way that the abundance never revealed. He is my portion. Not what He gives. Not what He does. Him. When the provision is stripped He is the provision. When the comfort is gone He is the comfort. I have asked the question in the season of loss and every time I have asked the answer has been the same. He is enough. He has always been enough. I just needed the losing to find out. Subscribe · Like · Comment · Share #MyPortion #HeIsEnough #Lamentations3 #Psalm73 #KVIM #BarbaraJohnson #InBetween #GospelMusic
