1ClarionCall | Dawless synthesizer performance, JMJ-inspired

#dawless #yamahasynths #yamahacs5 #jeanmicheljarre #instrumentalmusic #synthesizer #djiosmoaction4 Another video with the Yamaha CS-5 centre stage. No multi-tracking, no backing tracks, no AI, no talk. Just music - an improvisation on the CS-5 on a JMJ-inspired theme I have composed, with three Craves providing bass and extra harmonics abd an RD-6, BARP 1027, white noise and ‪@clacktronics‬ filter adding percussion. The footswitch signal from Little Box No. 1 (a device of my own, recent creation) goes through a Doepfer slew limiter and into the resonance of one the Crave's filters to create a very ‪@jeanmicheljarre‬-like effect. Another source of inspiration is ‪@kebu‬ (in particular, the advice he kindly gave me some time ago about how to engage the audience in a performance by selecting one part for live playing and sticking with it - this has informed my performances and even my setup). I also note that I am using a new camera, a DJI Osmo Action 4. Still getting to grips with it, but hopefully we can see some improved image quality.
