Reassembling the WWII Wespe Final Drive (POV Workshop)
This week Steve begins the long-awaited reassembly of the Wespe’s final drive. After months of refurbishment and careful restoration, the drivetrain component that transfers power to the tracks finally goes back together. Filmed largely from Steve’s point of view, this episode offers a rare look inside the process of rebuilding one of the most critical systems in a WWII German armoured vehicle. Precision matters here — once installed, this final drive will be responsible for moving the entire vehicle.
