Fancy Free | A Classic at Jacob's Pillow
The first hit ballet created by Jerome Robbins, “Fancy Free” was performed during two seasons at Jacob’s Pillow in the 1940s, after which it disappeared from the Pillow stage until 2014. In this short documentary film, scenes from both the 1949 and 2014 performances are interspersed with commentary by Daniel Ulbricht and Ella Baff.
