The Sri Kalabhairaveshwara Swamy Temple in Adichunchanagiri, Karnataka, is a magnificent hilltop shrine located in the Mandya district, about 110 km west of Bengaluru. It is one of the very few dedicated temples to Lord Kalabhairava in South India and serves as the prominent Kshetra Palaka (guardian deity) of the historic Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Elevation: Situated on a rocky hill at an altitude of 3,300 feet.
