Lost Creek Wilderness - Big Loop - Pike National Forest CO | 4-day Backpacking Report
This is the full length trip report with natural sounds and on-trail commentary from a 4-day backpacking adventure that Brent (Devan) and I took to the Lost Creek Wilderness in June 2020. We covered ~40 miles on the Big Loop in Colorado's Pike National Forest. Notable sights included the Shaft House, Lost Creek, Indian Creek meadows, Bison Peak, Lake Park and many more. We worked our way counterclockwise from the Goose Creek Trailhead and completed the Big Loop with additional side trips to the Shaft House and Bison Peak.
