BEAR CANISTERS ARE REQUIRED I spent 6 days and 5 nights on this trail. July 30th- Aug4th over 30 miles and 4 mountain passes starting from the West maroon trailhead via Crested butte. It rained every day from 3pm - 5:30am. Temperatures at night were in the low 40’s maybe high 30’s. It was an amazing trail and I would highly recommend it.
