션팍의 사진이야기 (80) 순수예술사진에서 카메라의 기록적인 이미지 이상의 작가의 생각과 질문이 들어간 사진이 좋은 사진일까?
In a sense, learning photography involves purely utilizing the camera's functions to express the expressions provided by the machine in a purely realistic manner. This should be viewed as the role of a photographer who uses the camera as a means of documentation and utilizes the camera itself in its purest form. However, when photography is brought into the realm of fine art, the camera transcends its role as a purely documentary tool and shifts to a realm where the photographer's thoughts and intentions become more important, similar to genres of general art. Yet, if we do not view photography as art, the camera would essentially function as a scientific machine that captures the appearance of reality, taking on a form akin to a satellite or CCTV. While this is a somewhat extreme example, when a scientific product like a camera is created through human touch, no one can claim that human emotions or thoughts are entirely absent. It is also a dilemma in documentary or landscape photography that the moment a person stands before the camera, the shutter cannot be pressed without passing through human will and intention. I, too, take photos using a unique camera function called long exposure, which is often overlooked. While this fulfills the role of photography with documentary characteristics, it also implies the existence of my subjective perspective on the subject. To some extent, it could be argued that it is undesirable for human thoughts and questions to interfere with the truthfulness of a photograph. However, for photographers who place a higher value on the act of capturing images with the most visual truthfulness, such thoughts and intentions regarding photography can be considered very important. However, if there are photographers with opposing views, they could argue that since every photographer creates the image they wish to see when they put their eyes into the camera's viewfinder, even if photography mechanically captures only facts, not all images can be regarded as grounded in truthfulness based on perfect reality. We have discussed the attitude toward photography, which is truly difficult and potentially controversial, focusing on photographers Lee Jung-jin and Ahn Jun. #ArtistLeeJungJin #ArtistAhnJun #PhotographicArt #PhotographicWork #QuestionsOfPhotography #YouTube #Comments #SubjectivityOfPhotography #PhotoExhibition #PhotographicArt #pkmGallery #PhotoArtist #Mechanism #Solution #Machine #PhotoMachine #Keylight #Filllight #Words #DorothySalon #HongikUniversityCeramicsDepartment #nyu #RobertFrank #UnnamedRoad #Israel #Photographer #FrederikBrenner #ThomasSturt #StephanShor #ThisPlace #InternationalPhotographySector #PhotoExhibition #UnnamedRoadBook #Israel #WrittenByArtistLeeJungJin #ArtStatement #Desert #Mirage #UnfamiliarChallenge #ReligiousConflict #ConfusedLand #OliveTree #PersonalPrejudice #MyMetaphoricalExpression #Phenomenon #Vision #ConfusedLandscape #UncomfortableEmotion #ObjectiveFact #ExistenceOfPhotography #AmericanPhotography #DeepRootedTree #DocumentaryPhotography #FormOfWork #HonestAndSimple #MechanicalMechanism #PhotographicInkPainting #PhotographicTexture #ArtisticElementsOfPhotography #LinguisticElementsOfPhotography #Desert #PoliticalElementsOfPhotography #Scenery #MetaphoricalLanguage #PhotographicEmotion #PhotographicAbstractArt #AmericanDesert #DesertsOfAmerica #AmericanContinent #Magazine #DocumentaryPhotography #AbstractImage #DocumentaryForm #SimpleReality #TheAmericans #TheAmericans #PictorialElementsOfPhotography #CameraTouch #Hanji #HanjiPrinting #Developing #PhotoDeveloping #PhotoPrint #thing #Object #ObjectEnlargement #PKMGallery #Unseen #SameSpace #ChangeInArtwork #PhotographedSubject #ArtistLeeJungJin #PhotographySenior #PhotographyWorld #DonggangPhotographyAward #NationalMuseumOfModernAndContemporaryArt #PoeticResonance #ArtistInnerWorld #PhotographerBaeByungWoo #PhotographerLeeMyungHo #MakingPhotography #IndividualDignity #SocialGaze #Wind #Air #AbstractElements #DesolateFeeling #Life #Winter #Iceland #Greenland #Photographer #ColdFeeling #ColorSense #UnknownUSA3 #NorthernUSA #UnknownSeries #Florida #Tree #Green #ArtistFocused #Sorrow #PhotoPurchase #WarmPurchase #LeeJungJinArtistWorldArtist #Sorrow #Silence #ArtistTechnique #Exhibition #PhotoExhibition #PhotographyStudy #ArtistAhnJun #Pratt #Ephemeral #FleetingMeaning #SelfPortraitWork #AnxiousShooting #GoodMorningZone #AIWork #SelfPortrait #CameraEye #Limit #Helplessness #SeoulBotanicalGarden #OneLife #FastCameraShutter #CameraShutter #Camera #Fall #ExtremePoint #UrbanHighrise #Crusher #Reality #Fiction #RealityAndFiction #Photography #ImAnna #FastPhotographyShutterSpeed #Image #PhotoImage #SecondCamera #ExtremeImage #SuicidalImpulseImage #Figure #FrontViewOfFigure #Ambiguity #ExtremeImage #RealityAndFictionInPhotography #RealityAndFictionInPhotography #MeansOfTheMomentInPhotography #AnJun #People'sDesire #Reality #NewEye #SeoulBotanicalSphere #SelfPortraitPhotography #SuicidalImpulseImage #Subjec...
