Dream Job Podcast Episode 008 - Jeff Ausdemore

In episode eight, hosts Riley Warren and Shannon Jacobs interview Jeff Ausdemore. Mr. Ausdemore is a highly regarded percussion educator, adjudicator, arranger, author, and entrepreneur based in the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex. He currently serves as the Percussion Arranger for the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps from Denver, Colorado, a role he previously held from 2006-2010. Mr. Ausdemore is also an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University - Commerce, where he teaches private lessons, percussion pedagogy, and arranging. In 2020, Mr. Ausdemore co-founded Stryvemind, an online platform and resource for percussionists and educators. As an adjudicator, Jeff has judged for Drum Corps International, Winter Guard International, and dozens of local marching band and winter percussion circuits around the United States. He will soon be releasing his first book, entitled "Breathe, Grow, Share" which chronicles his time as a percussion educator and offers strategies for fulfillment, purpose, and longevity for current music educators.
