Parma, Italy - More Than Cheese and Ham!

Join us as we explore the streets of Parma Italy. Tour the huge Pilotta Monumental Complex. Wander the Oltretorrente neighborhood. And, eat amazing food. Parma is a walkable, quiet city but with enough things to do to make it enjoyable, especially for a visitor. Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, beautiful architecture (Duomo, Baptistery) and history (Teatro Regio opera). Parma is only a 1 1/2 train ride from Milan Centrale. After an overnight flight, we landed at Malpensa at 9:30AM and arrived at our hotel in time for a rest and dinner. Parma is a relaxing, charming city. Some areas even feel more like a village. It’s a perfect alternative to more hectic cities and, for us, a great choice to begin our time in Italy and recover from our jet lag. If you visit, be sure to check out the wonderful restaurants. And, we highly recommend the cute Hotel Button.
