A quiet summer day by the lake. I smoke freshly caught perch and use it in a simple summer salad. Later, I take a sauna out on the lake in our floating sauna, while the weather shifts as only a Scandinavian summer can. Welcome to Slow Living by the Lake. In a small tiny house by a quiet Nordic lake, I live a simple and self-sufficient life. I grow vegetables, raise chickens, fish, and cook seasonal meals over fire and on my wood stove.
