The long autumn continues by the lake. In this film, I spend quiet days in the forest gathering mushrooms, and I cook a rich stew with local beef, wild mushrooms, and home-cured pork belly. I also give new life to an old oil drum in a small building project, and start turning a basket of apples into homemade cider. It’s a slow chapter of everyday life — work, food, and stillness in the shifting light of autumn. The film is the second in a quiet trilogy about foraging and cooking mushrooms.
