I SPENT 36 HOURS IN THE FORESTS OF ZAMBOANGA. This was a beautiful mountain home in Nanga-Nangan, Tigbao, Zamboanga del Sur. Nearby is a Subanen community, a people who have been living on the peninsula for over a thousand years, and who I was very interested in visiting. It turns out - they are very much like us!
