MINDANAO MOUNTAIN HOME - Mandaya Family Farm House (Caraga)
We were invited by our friends from Lakbay Mandaya to visit a beautiful farm house and Mandaya community up in the mountains of Caraga. And yes, that is the town of Caraga, not the Region. This video is our journey up to Brgy Pichon and one of the farther sitios tucked away amongst the mountains of Mindanao. Upon arrival, we were welcomed like family, and presented with different snacks such as Ginataan Gabi, Mais, Siakoy, and camote fries. The climate was cool, the locals were welcoming, and there were some big waterfalls just nearby the road!
