700 lbs of Weed Found in his U-Haul Truck. BODYCAM

This guy was pulled over for a traffic violation while driving a rented U-Haul truck. He was smoking weed in the cabin while driving. He told the officer that he was moving from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania ( He was a resident in New York ) and that was the reason for the U-haul. He made a big mistake when he agreed to let officers search the truck (you can decline politely). The first thing they noticed was an extra thick lock that they had real trouble cutting off. Once they were able to cut the lock off there were over 700 lbs of weed in the vehicle. (you can only legally possess 2.5 ounces, unfortunately you aren't allowed to have a moving truck full of it) He was charged with felony trafficking and possession. He was released on $150k bail 4 days after the arrest which was posted by a bail bondsman. It appears that the suspect has been on the run ever since being released on bond and the court asked the bond company to either pay the $150k or deliver the defendant to court. From what I can tell the bond company is trying to ask for more time to either locate him or pay. *Note on the Van referenced but not shown in the video. The officer saw a van following behind the U-haul truck. That's a very common tactic by cartels, they send product in one car and then have a 2nd vehicle follow behind to make sure it gets where it's supposed to go. *all suspects in these videos should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
