(Confession) Former activist speaks about the horrors of the IRA campaign and its effects on him. Eamon Collins was a member of the IRA from 1979 to 1987 Collins (1954-99 was a member of the Provisional IRA in the late 1970s and 1980s. He turned supergrass on the organisation in the late 1980s and later co-authored a book called Killing Rage telling of his experiences in the IRA. He was beaten and stabbed to death on the 27 January,1999 near Barcroft Park Newry.
