After a brutal letter bomb campaign, he wrote letters of apology to his victims from his prison cell. “I was sent alone to bomb London. I was 18 years of age”. As a child soldier of the IRA, Shane O’Doherty was responsible for the first deadly letter bomb campaign in London. O’Doherty repented in prison, writing letters of apology to his victims and publicly campaigning for peace. O’Doherty now asks himself if he can ever undo the pain he caused.
