Upon arriving, the local leaders assigned him an immediate and dangerous mission: to clear a supermarket controlled by bandits. Rigoberto headed to the location in his military truck. He used the vehicle to run over the zombies outside, but he got too close to the building, and the criminals opened fire at point-blank range, wounding him. After an emergency retreat to safety, he waited for nightfall. Equipped with his night-vision goggles, he infiltrated the darkness and stealthily eliminated the bandits one by one, clearing the area completely. As the assault ended, a new horde stormed the establishment. This time, wounded and with no ammunition to spare, he decided to flee.
