Reaching the Unreached: OOS Implementation in Katsina State | CG Project Documentary

This documentary highlights the implementation of the Optimised Outreach Session (OOS) under the Consequential Geography (CG) Project in Katsina State. Over the course of five days, dedicated health teams were deployed to underserved and hard-to-reach communities to deliver life-saving routine immunization services to children, particularly those under two years of age. Through strong community engagement, strategic planning, and the use of digital tools like EMIDAS for real-time tracking and reporting, the intervention aimed to identify and reach zero-dose and under-immunized children—ensuring that no child is left behind. The documentary captures the commitment of frontline health workers, the response from caregivers, and the collaborative efforts of stakeholders working to improve immunization coverage and protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases. This is a story of impact, innovation, and the ongoing effort to bring healthcare closer to those who need it most.
