The second of two 1981 documentaries ("Shannon County: Home" and "Shannon County: Hearts of the Children") composed of footage shot in Shannon County, Missouri, in 1978 and 1979. Topics include tourism, factories, mining, hunting, logging, forging, gig fishing, making molasses, education and young people leaving for work, Pentecostal ministry, political campaigning, the Plummer Family Country Music Show in Branson, and raising cattle.
