2020 Acura NSX Suspension Walkaround - A Ton Of Clever Engineering Is Hiding Behind Those Wheels

The 2020 Acura NSX, also known as the Honda NSX in most places outside North America, is an exceedingly well-engineered sports car that offers accurate steering, impeccable handling and a settled around-town ride. Much of this has to do with the thoughtful engineering behind the suspension and chassis components we'll see in this video. This second-generation NSX first reappeared after a long absence as a 2017 model. The suspension tuning was further refined for the 2019 model year after a different Continental tire with different structural characteristics was specified—SportContact 6 instead of SportContact 5. This second-generation NSX is a midengine supercar powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and three electric motors—a rear-mounted one between its engine and 9-speed dual-clutch transmission and one for each front wheel. Yes, this not only means the NSX has all-wheel drive, it's also a performance hybrid.
