Long before I ever saw the ocean, a river in Montana taught me everything I needed to know about the water, and about fear. This one starts in Montana, where I fell in love with rivers and lakes, and follows that love all the way to scuba diving in Bali, the Bahamas, and the Red Sea. Along the way I realized how much of our fear around water and wildlife (sharks included) is just a story we've been told, not the reality.
