Dangerous Paths to School BOLIVIA | Free Documentary (Spanish) Next Chapter: Dangerous Paths to School MEXICO:    • Caminos más Peligrosos a la Escuela MÉXICO...   The Yungas Valley in Bolivia: a unique landscape where the Andes Mountains meet the Amazon rainforest. In this remote part of one of South America's poorest countries, children face a very long and incredibly dangerous journey to school. All for one goal: education, for a better life. Seven-year-old Elmer wants to be an engineer and build his own house, far from the remote village. But his only path to school crosses a ravine more than 650 feet deep and approximately 1,000 feet long: a kind of makeshift zip line. He must rely on a rusty iron pulley and a worn-out plastic bag for his safety. On the other side of the valley, high in the mountains, live sisters Helen and Mariela. Isolated, in the heart of the jungle. Of all the children who attend school, the sisters live the farthest away. Fear, hunger, and exhaustion are their constant companions. For them, education is the key to a new and better world. And that is why they take great risks every day in pursuit of it. This is more than just a journey to school: it is an ordeal in the vast jungle. Throughout this journey, they all have one goal in mind: to finally find work in a city and lead a better life. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to the Free Documentary Español Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram:   / free.documentary   Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary Español is dedicated to bringing high-quality documentaries to YouTube for free, using the latest camera equipment employed by renowned filmmakers working for famous production studios.
