Przedziały liczbowe Działania na przedziałach - Matematyka Liceum i Technikum

In this video I introduce the concept of a number interval, the types of intervals, and operations on numerical intervals. I show how to shorten the notation of subsets of real numbers using interval notation, how to represent intervals graphically on the number line, and when to use round brackets and square brackets. I discuss eight types of intervals: open, closed, half-open, unbounded to the left and to the right, as well as the rules for marking endpoints and interpreting the infinity symbol in the context of intervals. Next, I teach how to perform operations on intervals: union, intersection, and difference, illustrating each case with diagrams and examples. In the final part of the video, I solve sets of problems in which I perform operations on intervals and transform expressions into a single interval or a union of intervals, using graphical analysis and logical reasoning based on set properties.
