Resource Levelling in Primavera P6

Resource levelling is a technique used to make optimize use of the Schedule and Resources within the project span It mainly balance between the supply and availability of the resources during the project. It improve the efficiency of resources, reduce waste thus save the cost, enhance stakeholders satisfaction, on the other hand in increased schedule complexity, may increase project duration, may reduce schedule feasibility and stability, potential trade-off between resource optimization and Project objectives. Depending on P6-settings it may/will modify the Start/Finish dates of individual activities, Critical Path and thus change the Project duration based on the availability of resources to avoid over-allocation or under utilizations However these changes are temporary i.e. we may return the schedule back after Re-scheduling by pressing "F9", as mainly construction projects are time constraint (not resource governing)
