Everyone's curious about how he's heard about it. He tells them he's been to the police station before coming back to the farm, and that he's heard about it there. Arzu isn't satisfied with his answer. Kenan says he's heard them fighting when he was coming in, and asks Aliye what it was all about. Arzu says they were just talking and that Kenan must have understood. Then Aliye says it was nothing important. İpek is furious that Arzu blatantly lies about it, but she chooses not to tell the truth because she doesn't want the others to be demoralized. When Kenan and Selim go upstairs to see Zeynep, Aliye and İpek warn Arzu to watch her step from now on, or they will tell everything to Kenan, but Arzu doesn't budge. Kenan is very supportive towards Zeynep. Kenan's return eases Zeynep's mind a lot. Arzu doesn't know what to do. She calls her father to ask for help, but he doesn't pick up. When Kenan asks Aliye what it was they were fighting about, Aliye says she regrets making Kenan marry Arzu, that she now sees the truth, and Arzu doesn't deserve to be in their family at all. Arzu overhears them, and is afraid Aliye will tell Kenan everything. Right then she sees Elif, and holds her responsible for everything that's happening. Then we hear Elif's scream as she falls down the stairs. Everyone rushes in, and they find Elif lying unconscious on the floor. They take her to the hospital right away. Elif wakes up, but doesn't tell them how she's fallen down. Aliye thinks Arzu's thrown Elif down the stairs to keep Kenan learning the truth, and she confronts Arzu. Although Arzu denies this, Aliye doesn't believe her, and tells Arzu that she will tell Kenan everything. Aliye is ready to face the consequences of her own lies being exposed, too, and when Arzu realizes she cannot stop Aliye, she hits Aliye on the head with a vase and knocks her out, then lies her down in her bed. She backed up to a corner now. She goes to her father for help and tells him everything. Nejdet tells her to go back home immediately and to act like nothing happened. In truth, his intention is not to help Arzu but punish her. The next morning the police come to their door and tell Arzu that she's under arrest for attempted murder. As Veysel and Murat are walking, a car cuts them and two armed men get out, beat Murat and kidnap Veysel. They tell him that the man he's stabbed while rescuing Tülay has died, and that if he wants to stay out of jail and see Tülay again, he'll have to make a deed for 750 thousand liras.
