You Will Be Making This Cake Everyday - Nipples Of Venus Cake - Inspired By The Movie "Amadeus"

There is one scene in the movie "Amadeus" that has always stood out for me. That is when Constanza is offered nipples of Venus by Salieri and she giggles. She also helps herself to more than one. They are describe by Salieri as roman chestnuts in brandy sugar. As a cake that translate as a chestnut cake with a chocolate and chestnut filling covered in white chocolate ganache. You can add some brandy to the cake batter and to the chocolate chestnut filling if you choose. Impressive everyone with this dessert tonight. Enjoy, Michael P.S. Don't forget to hit like and subscribe. Preheat oven to 350° Butter and flour semi dome cake tin. Cream together 1/3 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar then add in 1/2 cup canned chestnut puree. Beat in 3 egg yolks and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Optional 1 tablespoon brandy at this time. Add in 1/2 cup flour and 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and beat until combined. Beat the 3 egg whites with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar until firm peaks. Fold in one half of the egg whites into the batter. Once lightened up fold the remaining egg whites into the batter and divide evenly into the baking tin. Bake for 20 minutes. For the filling, microwave for 1 minute, 4oz of chocolate and 1/4 cup cream. stir until combined and add in 1/2 tablespoon butter. Next add in 2/3 cup canned chestnut puree and beat until smooth. Optional 1 tablespoon brandy at this time. Set aside. For the white chocolate ganache, melt in the microwave for 1 minute, 4oz white chocolate and 1/4 cup cream. Stir until combined and add in 1/2 tablespoon butter. To assemble, slice each dome in half. Fill with the chocolate chestnut filling, smoothing out the sides. Pour over the white chocolate ganache to coat the cakes and with the remaining white chocolate ganache add a drop of red food coloring. Place the pink nipple on the top of each cake. Note: My white chocolate ganache set up to quick on me, so I don't get the nice smooth covering.
