However, Miami is much more than that – it's a blend of cultures, history, and the energy of Latin America. We're taking you to two of the most atmospheric neighborhoods in the entire city – Little Havana and Wynwood in Miami. First, we visit Little Havana – the heart of Miami's Cuban community. The district began to develop in the 1960s, when thousands of Cubans fleeing the island after the revolution began arriving in the city. Today, it's one of the most important centers of Cuban-American culture in the world. We stroll along the famous Calle Ocho, sip Cuban coffee, watch a game of dominoes, and soak up the Latin atmosphere—the music, colors, and scents that make you feel like you're in the Caribbean. Then we're transported to a completely different world—Wynwood, one of the most artistic districts in the United States. The former industrial part of the city has been transformed into a vast street art gallery full of murals, galleries, restaurants, and creative energy. This is where one of the most famous street art venues in the world is located—Wynwood Walls—where artists from around the world create gigantic murals.
