Renowned saxophonist, Bhudaza Mapefane said Ibrahim's music has long been regarded as a benchmark for aspiring jazz artists. However, Mapefane noted that his admiration for the celebrated musician deepened after discovering that they shared roots in Lesotho, a connection that strengthened his personal bond with Ibrahim's legacy.
