BREAK THE YOKE THAT BINDS MY GOOD NEWS Nahum 1:13 – “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.” A yoke is a spiritual or physical burden, bondage, limitation, or oppression that hinders a person from enjoying God’s blessings. Many people are carrying yokes that delay or prevent their good news from manifesting. These yokes may appear as repeated disappointments, delayed breakthroughs, unanswered expectations, stagnation, family battles, financial struggles, or persistent afflictions. Good news represents God’s promises, testimonies, favour, promotion, healing, marriage, fruitfulness, success, and divine restoration. When a yoke is operating against a person’s life, good news may be delayed, diverted, or denied. The Anointing Breaks Every Yoke Isaiah 10:27 “And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” No yoke can withstand the power and anointing of God. When God’s power comes upon a situation, every chain of delay and disappointment must break. 2. Christ Came to Set the Captives Free Luke 4:18 “He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives…” Jesus came to liberate us from every bondage, preventing our blessings and good news. 3. God Delivers from Every Bondage Psalm 107:14 “He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and brake their bands in sunder.” The God who delivered Israel is still able to break every yoke today. 4. God Will Remove Every Burden Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? … to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” God’s desire is freedom for His children. Signs of a Yoke Hindering Good News Constant disappointment at the edge of breakthrough. Repeated delays and stagnation. Near-success syndrome. Unexplainable setbacks. Persistent failures despite efforts. Long-awaited prayers remain unanswered. How to Overcome These Yokes 1. Surrender completely to Jesus Christ. 2. Live a life of prayer and holiness. 3. Engage the Word of God regularly. 4. Exercise faith in God’s promises. 5. Reject every negative covenant and declaration. 6. Depend on the power of the Holy Spirit. Tonight, we are praying that every yoke standing between us and our testimonies shall be destroyed by the power of God. Heavenly Father, we thank You because You are the Yoke-Breaker. According to Your Word in Isaiah 10:27, let every yoke binding our good news be destroyed by Your anointing. Let every chain of delay, stagnation, disappointment, and limitation be broken. Release our testimonies, breakthroughs, blessings, and divine opportunities. Let this season become a season of good news, divine visitation, and celebration in Jesus’ mighty name.
