I found 127 kg of scrap aluminum on my property and melted it down into large ingots
While clearing out the junk on my property that the previous owners left behind I put aside all the aluminum that I found. In the end I had 127kg of scrap aluminum. I sort the aluminum in grade I and grade II. Grade I are cast aluminum parts. This means that this alloy is more suited for casting resulting in less shrinkage and deformation everything else goes in Grade II. To melt the 127kg it took me roughly 4 hours and each ingot weighs roughly 10kg
