Most Wildlife Photographers shoot in RAW and most use 14bit RAW instead of 12bit RAW. But is there an advantage of using 12bit RAW for Wildlife Photography, well watch this video and see why I now shoot in 12bit RAW instead of 14bit RAW. A 12bit RAW file has a tonal range 4096 compared to a 14bit RAW file which has a tonal range 16,384.
