This video shows a tire change on an electric mamachari (Japanese bicycle). Other repairs include replacing one broken spoke and the front brake. Electric assist bicycles are heavy due to the motor and battery, and due to their weight, these issues often lead to problems. Spokes break when the bike is moved sideways while parked, or when the stand is lowered while the bike is locked. This time, only one spoke broke, but we also receive repairs for bikes with three or four broken spokes, resulting in wobbly rims. Initially, we measured the length of spokes and purchased them from a large bicycle shop for repair, but this proved too inefficient, so we introduced a spoke threader. We buy long spokes (about 300mm long) and store them on hand. We cut them to the required length, thread them, and repair bikes. Even when bikes come in for repair with broken spokes, we can quickly make new spokes, which is convenient. While we don't specialize in repairs, we keep over 20 tires in stock at all times to meet customer needs (lol).
