Marbury v Madison - the most important case in US Supreme Court history

This is a video lecture about the 1803 United States Supreme Court case, Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 137. In this case, the Supreme Court gives itself the immense power of judicial review, allowing it to strike down laws that it deems unconstitutional. To understand what is going on, you need some explanation of the history surrounding the case, which is what I try to provide here. This is part of a Philosophy of Law course.
