Beaded Tandem Buck Tail Streamer Fly- Nine Three

This is my variant of the classic Nine Three Tandem Streamer, adding glass beads and cheeks of pheasant rump feathers dyed yellow. This streamer was my most effective pattern in early May of 2023 for catching land locked salmon and lake trout in Northern Maine. Thread - 6/0 Black or Iron Grey Hooks - Mustad C61SAP, sizes 2 and 4, or similar Wire - Surflon 1x7 40 lb nylon coated stainless steel Body, rear hook - #12 green mylar Body, front hook - Dubbed BGD -AW Hot White from Fly Tyers Dungeon Beads - Red and Green with silver lining, 3 to 4 mm diameter Wing - Black buck tail over green buck tail Belly - White buck tail Cheeks - Pheasant rump feathers dyed yellow
