Introduction to the PE Coach app
PE Coach is a free and publicly available mobile app for people who are engaged in Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy with a clinical provider. It was created by a team at the National Center for PTSD, Department of Veterans Affairs. PE is an evidence-based psychotherapy used to treat posttraumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. If you are in PE therapy, the PE Coach app can be a useful companion to your care. The app can be used to schedule appointments, set reminders for things to bring to sessions and tasks to complete at home, securely record sessions, track symptoms over time, and read more about PTSD.
