Introduction to the Pain Coach app
Pain Coach is a free and publicly available mobile app for people who experience chronic pain or any pain that disrupts life. It was created by a team at the National Center for PTSD, Department of Veterans Affairs, and provides 12 levels of activities designed to help users manage pain and improve their daily lives. The app also offers daily check-ins and pain tracking, coping tools for managing pain, a multimedia journal for collecting important information, and readings to help understand more about chronic pain. This app is not a replacement for treatment with a healthcare professional, but it can be used by people who are in treatment as well as those who are not. #mhealth #mentalhealth #chronicpain #pain
