The 2022 Toyota Yaris Cross is a small crossover that rivals the likes of the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur and Ford Puma. It might be based on Toyota's Yaris supermini, but thanks to its increased ride height and chunky body cladding, it looks and feels like a much more substantial vehicle. Power comes from Toyota's hybrid system - there's no simple petrol or diesel engines offered. The 'self-charging' hybrid (it can't be plugged in) pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a battery and electric motor to deliver 114bhp.
