In the first month, earnings were only 7,000 yen, and the business was on the verge of collapse. A blog started as a last resort, and after 3 months, reservations began filling up, and after 6 months, monthly sales exceeded 1 million yen. This led to the opening of two more branches in front of Yokohama Station. Staffing was increased by 7 people, and eyelash and nail services were added. An e-commerce site was launched, sourcing products from Austria and Korea (500 members in 6 months through word-of-mouth alone, without advertising). A rental conference room business was also expanded. During this process, numerous consultations were received from individual salon owners nationwide, leading to the start of specialized marketing and management consulting for individual salons. A private salon owner, who, like my former self, was struggling with attracting customers and sales, transformed into a salon with "fully booked appointments and record-breaking sales" thanks to my advice. In 2016, I retired from managing my own salon and dedicated myself to consulting. I established the salon school®︎ "Master Salon Management Academy." Students come from all over Japan and even from overseas, including Australia. Monthly sales increased from 15,000 yen to 4 million yen. Three staff members were also hired. Achieved monthly sales of 2 million yen at a salon surrounded by rice fields with only one train per hour. Relocated the salon to a location 4 minutes from Omotesando and achieved a record monthly sales of 10 million yen. Opened a business in a 30-year-old apartment. Achieved monthly sales of 1 million yen from 400,000 yen. A salon that was unable to pay its national health insurance premiums and was receiving a reduction increased its monthly sales to 2.9 million yen. In a town of 17,000 people, monthly sales increased from 80,000 yen to 2,500,000 yen. From a home-based salon with monthly sales of 130,000 yen, sales steadily increased, leading to the opening of a physical store and achieving monthly sales of 3,600,000 yen.
