Tornado & Flying Scotsman at Carlisle 20 & 21 10 21

On two consecutive days, 60163 brought charter trains from the West Midlands via the Settle and Carlisle whilst 60103 returned them by the West Coast Main Line. I was on Carlisle station on both days but had to leave early on the Wednesday to travel to Glasgow for a Scottish Opera performance - yes, I do have other interests in life beside steam trains! Shunting and platform arrangements varied for each day and our hopes of seeing both locomotives together, alas, came to naught. As usual, plenty of other interest at the Citadel.
