Sydney Trains B-Set (Waratah Series 2) - Ashfield to Burwood (T2 Inner West & Leppington Line)

Also known as the Waratah Series 2, this is the follow-up order and second batch of the latest generation of electric multiple units to be introduced on the Sydney Trains (formerly Cityrail) network and can be found throughout the urban railway lines. The trains were delivered under a joint partnership between CRRC Changchun, Dower EDI and Hitachi, the latter supplying the propulsion system. They were built in Changchun, China before being shipped to Cardiff in Australia. The main difference between A-Set and B-Set trains is the addition of LCD passenger information systems and a orange front exterior livery.
