Real estate neuromarketing is a synergy of two disciplines: neuroscience and sales. Neuromarketing clearly demonstrates that 85% of our purchasing decisions take place in the subconscious and unconscious part of the brain, meaning that only 15% of those decisions are made with the rational, or conscious, part. For this reason, real estate agents must learn to sell to those unconscious parts of the brain, using sales techniques that may go unnoticed by the buyer's conscious mind, but which will help clients make the best purchase decision. Neuromarketing is not about using subterfuge to sell; it's about techniques that help clients buy, to be more open with you, to be less cautious, to listen to you, to ask questions, and to answer your questions openly. Buying a property is a special process that should be separated from other purchasing processes. A property isn't bought every day; it represents the highest price most people will pay in their lifetime for a product, and owning a particular property is a determining factor in how others perceive you. The neuro-sales techniques every real estate agent should learn are: First, familiarize yourself with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), understand your own mental map, and learn to quickly decipher your clients' mental maps to make it easier to argue and negotiate. Second, familiarize yourself with the DISC methodology to understand your own behavioral tendencies and those of your clients. This will help you create a faster connection with clients and present the purchase argument much more effectively. Third, you must learn how to sell to men and women, as each gender makes decisions differently and is more attracted to certain aspects of a property than the other. If you are a man, you must learn how to show properties to women and negotiate with them, and if you are a woman, you must learn how to show properties to men and negotiate with them. This is not just cheap theory, as some believe. Fourth, you must learn to quickly interpret your clients' body language and use your own to generate credibility and trust. Fifth You must learn to sell without selling, which is the best way to sell. Learn to improve your empathy, to appeal to the innate self-interest we all possess, to sell the benefits a property offers, and to sell value, not price. And sixth, learn the value of reciprocity in real estate sales and apply it using content marketing. There are other neuro-sales techniques you should learn, but these six are enough to give you a good idea. I encourage you to search online for information about neuro-sales and learn all these skills. It's useless to have good digital marketing knowledge and attract qualified clients if you lose most of them when they contact you. In short, learn the sales profession, not the sales tricks and closing techniques. Learn the business, not the business gimmicks. Learning to sell isn't achieved through experience or by reading a couple of books. It's learned by preparing a personalized training plan and being consistent.
