Many agents ask themselves this question and all they see is too much work for few results. They don't understand that maintaining a blog can bring them clients in the short term. They consider publishing on a blog more of a real estate branding strategy than a lead generation tool. In this video, I'm going to show you how you can attract clients who want to buy or owners who want to sell their property using your blog articles. It all starts with writing a good article on a specific topic that interests your target audience. This requires some online research, time, and effort. It usually takes between one and two weeks to write a good article, depending on your writing skills. You should write a good article of around 1,000–1,200 words to rank well online. Write an article on a topic that interests your target audience. There are countless topics of interest, from additional expenses in the buying and selling of a property, to mortgages, real estate law, interior design, or how to move with a pet. As I said, there are hundreds of topics you can write about. We have written articles for our clients on 78 different topics. You can then turn these articles into videos by extracting the most important points and recording a 2–3 minute video. Once you have a well-written article, write an attractive title and publish it on your blog. The next step is to promote it on Facebook Ads for 10 days with a daily budget of between $5 and $10. Investing $100 in an article might seem like a lot, but it's not. With $100, you can get between 800 and 1,200 people to visit your website in a 10-day period. Your website would have to be pretty bad if, out of those 800-1,200 visitors, only 8 to 12 people contacted you. That means it cost you between $9 and $13 per contact. Does that seem like a lot? Well, let's say you sell a property to just one of those people. That means that $100 generated $2,000, $5,000, or more in sales commissions. You might think that clients don't read articles, but you're wrong. The numbers are there, and blogs are among the most-read online content, second only to videos. Real estate blogs are read more than real estate news on online media. This strategy of promoting an article to attract clients is primarily used in the sale of luxury real estate. In this case, the key is to publish an article highlighting the advantages and benefits of the area where the property is located. Once published on your blog, you upload it to Facebook and promote it to a specific audience for about 20-30 days. Then, you run a remarketing campaign on Facebook, creating a lookalike audience of the people who viewed the article. In this second campaign, you promote the luxury property you want to sell to this similar audience. Facebook creates these lookalike audiences based on the people who visited your article. This strategy ensures you reach the right clients and is one of my favorite Facebook campaigns for selling luxury real estate. I can assure you that personality audiences and lookalike audiences are the Holy Grail of Facebook Ads.
