Hello, welcome back to my channel 🌿 I'm Yuka, a working mom of two living in the Japanese countryside. Today, I had a rare full day off — something that doesn't happen very often. On weekdays, I work as a physical therapist, and on weekends, I usually do Pilates. So a whole day at home, just for me — it felt like a treasure. In this video: ☀️ Our usual morning routine + family breakfast 🧹 A little cleaning around the house 🎬 My long-awaited solo movie time — "The Devil Wears Prada 2" (I've watched the first one hundreds of times for English study!) 🪛 Building a new closet for the kids' clothes — a little DIY project 🍽 Unboxing pottery I bought at the Bankoyaki Pottery Festival (Collecting Japanese ceramics is one of my hobbies) 🍲 Cooking dinner — nikujaga (mom's recipe), miso soup, tomato & egg stir-fry, and seasoned rice 📚 Slow time with the kids — picture books before bed ✂️ My quiet me-time after everyone falls asleep — sewing an apron and doing Pilates training So many things I wanted to do on this rare free day.
