Every day we see motorcyclists wearing technical jackets, gloves, and protective shoes. At the same time, we see scooter riders, even on powerful and fast vehicles, often wearing only a helmet. But why does this happen? In this video, I don't want to lecture anyone or judge those who use scooters for their daily commute. I simply want to share a personal reflection I often have while observing traffic. A fall on a scooter can have very similar consequences to a fall on a motorcycle, yet protective gear is perceived completely differently. Why? Is it a question of practicality? Habit? Risk perception? Or is there something more?
