Episode 86: Fly, Learn, Repeat — The Student Pilot Cast Reboot and New Show Format Bill returns in Episode 86 to explain what’s different in the reboot of The Student Pilot Cast, introducing the new mission and tagline “Fly, Learn, Repeat,” rooted in his shift from student pilot in 2008 to working CFI/CFII and the “always a student” mindset. He argues continual learning is essential because skills decay quickly without practice (noting studies showing measurable degradation after 28 days), cockpit technology and regulations keep changing, and safety margins depend on recent training.
