Yesterday, on our Sunday show, @la_mantequeria visited us and showed us how to make some spectacular ❤️🥐MEDIALUNAS🥐❤️. Here's the recipe so you can try them at home 😊. . 🥐INGREDIENTS: 760g of 0000 flour 10g of fine salt 10g of yeast 320g of whole milk 100g of eggs 10g of vanilla extract 375g of butter Salted croissant: 750g of 0000 flour 420g of mineral water 25g of salt 35g Sugar 10g Yeast 100g Pork Fat 375g Butter 🥐PROCEDURE: 1. Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. 2. Combine the liquid ingredients (milk, yeast, and vanilla extract) and add the yeast. Then combine the dry ingredients and begin kneading vigorously by hand for 5 minutes until you have a fairly smooth, but still somewhat rough, dough. 3. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours. 4. Roll out until it forms a 5mm sheet. 5. Add all the softened butter to the entire surface of the dough, first covering one side to the center and then covering the remaining side (double-sided). 6. Repeat this process 4 times, refrigerating for 45 minutes. 7. Let it rest and ripen for 24 hours. 8. Finally, roll it out to approximately 3 mm and cut 13 cm strips. Then, cut triangles with a 16 cm base. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and then assemble the toppers, then place them on a baking sheet. 9. Let it rise until it doubles in size when assembled. 10. Bake at 200°C for 11 minutes or until golden brown. 11. Remove from the oven and brush with syrup. EAT! 👏😍🥐❤️. .
