Dartmoor Bikepacking Offroad March 2019

Back on Dartmoor during March & an improved route this year, Some sections require using road due to private land and the notorious boggy conditions on some of the moors. I aimed to ride my ideal bikepacking route for this part of Dartmoor, climbing Tors, finding bronze age settlements and stone circles.The pace was leisurely covering 24 miles 2753ft elev on day one & 14 miles 1840ft elev day two. Setting camp on the banks of the West Dart River that winds its way through a secluded picturesque valley.
