House Burns To The Ground

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1/21/25 2:32 AM LOCATION: 7190 Winship Way AREA/CITY: Colton DETAILS: On January 21, 2025, at about 2:32 AM, CalFire Riverside responded to a residential structure fire at 7190 Winship Way in Colton. Units located a working fire in a two-story residential home. Due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area, water had to be transported up the hill to the fire. A water tender and multiple additional engines were requested. The home is at a total loss, with the roof and walls collapsed. At least two engines became stuck in the dirt but were pulled out by a Southern California Edison truck. A CalFire mechanic was also requested to inspect the engines for damages.
